Access Control Specialist

We are seeking a Access Control Specialist to work at our federal customer site and to join our collaborative, innovative, customer-centric culture.

Position Summary

The Access Control Specialist position is located in Lakewood, CO and will provide to support operate, update, and maintain the Casi-Rusco infrastructure which provides access control services for the customer. This position will also manage and issue key cards for the access control system.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager

  • Assist with the daily support of the Casi-Rusco Picture Perfect equipment.
  • Issue key cards as requested from by officially designated customer points of contact.
  • Maintain a secure, accurate, and current database of all issued key cards.
  • Coordinate addition of new users and sites utilizing the infrastructure.
  • Handle all related tasks when access control points are removed or sites are ‘decommissioned”.
  • Maintain and monitor key card inventory the customer’s regional security office.
  • Responsible for local and remote programing Micro 5 PX controllers and access cards.
  • Initiate customer repair tickets when resolution cannot be made from system diagnostic.
  • Update customer contact information.


Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Experience with and ability to learn Casi-Rusco Picture Perfect access control equipment.
  • Knowledge of the customer’s procedures and related components necessary to the operation of the customer’s access control system.
  • Experience with all computer and related systems required to operate the customer’s access control system infrastructure.
  • Ability to program Micro
  • Ability to work effectively with contractors and technicians providing support from the field.
  • Excellent customer service skills to external and internal customers.
  • Ability to conduct remote programming and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information that cannot be disclosed.
  • Ability to work independently and must be trustworthy.
